Bankruptcy

My firm handles all kinds of bankruptcy cases, but most of our clients have business-related issues.  For business debtors, Chapter 7 bankruptcy and Chapter 11 bankruptcy are usually complex undertakings.  Because of the new bankruptcy law that went into effect on October 17, 2005, Chapter 13 cases are increasing, but they have become more complex because of new-law requirements.

My approach is to thorougly understand your situation and, based on that understanding, explain, in detail, what the Bankruptcy Code has to offer you in your specific situation.  I will often need to obtain quite a number of documents from you before I can give you specific advice.

What you need is an attorney who will take the time to talk to you and answer your questions until you understand what a bankruptcy filing requires and what it will do for you.  That's what I do.
